November 6, 2011, 10:00 a.m. "Get Moving! An Introduction
to Dance/Movement Therapy," presented by Tara Converse Rollins.
This service will
highlight the history, philosphy, and healing techniques of
dance/movement therapy. Dance/movement therapy is the use of
movement to help children and adults expand their emotional, cognitive
and physical integration. This form of therapy is used with
people who have medical, developmental, social, physical, or
psychological impairments. Come lear about and experience
directly the healing power of dance!
